We've all heard about how much pressure golfers feel on the first tee at the Ryder Cup, but what about the 18th green? With the entire outcome of the biennial event on the line?
Max Homa found himself in such a position on Sunday—and the cameras caught him expressing just what that moment felt like.
Needing to win his singles match against Matt Fitzpatrick to keep Team USA's hopes alive, Homa had to take an unplayable penalty on the final hole. But he got up and down, draining a clutch eight-foot par putt to pull it out. Have a look:
But did you notice what the cameras caught him saying to his caddie, Joe Greiner, as the two embraced? It might be the most relatable a PGA Tour star has ever sounded. Have another look:

We didn't, Max. You looked cool as a cucumber out there. And if the U.S. still winds up losing, it's certainly not Homa's fault after going 3-1-1 to lead the Americans with 3.5 points.
